Hay preservatives (propionic acid). Is it safe for horses?
Has anyone had problems feeding this treated hay to horses. Before I buy need your opinions or your experiences with this preservative

From what I have been told it is safe for horses but can make it a bit salty tasting so they eat too much.

It is perfectly safe for all animals. It does not alter the taste of the hay at all. It's the same as preservatives in your food. You may get a hint of taste but nothing you would really notice.
