YouTube has quite a few videos of hay accumulator types. I use a NH 1012 Stacker on my fields because I only do a 100 or so a night, deliver to neighbors, and have to borrow help for elevator loading. If you list the acreage you are doing, baler features, number of tractors or trucks available, storage type and capacity, etc. You will get some good advice.

If I can find a company that would let me demo one, I'd probably buy it. Currently I'm the hay accumulator while my older parents drive the tractors, but I know the day is coming soon when I'll have to find an alternative.

I built this combination accumulator and bale squeeze about 8 years ago for use with my 2008 Mahindra 5525. The 8-bale accumulator is clamped onto the forks of the bale squeeze and is then removed to use the squeeze to stack the 8-bale groups. It attaches to the skid steer quick attach on the 5525 FEL arms. It's a nice welding project.

Neat work. If I understood the process you use, could you have designed the accumulator part to slide together when the bales are squeezed but then been pulled back open when the arms open up?
