havein trouble keeping my Stabilizers tight

Look at the telescopic stabilizers where they attach to the rear end of the tractor and there is a knuckle there. It will fold over when pushed into compression and isn't capable of carrying that type of load (or at least not very much for very long).

You could never adjust the stabilizers so perfectly that one would be exactly in compression while the other was exactly in tension. One of those things will happen before the other, and ideally you want the tension side to be happening first so that the other stabilizer goes slack but doesn't go into compression.

Exactly!

I'm not sure we've gotten to the crux of the OP's issue, which I'm not sure they've clearly explained. My turnbuckles have these keeper pins that prevent them from turning either way once adjusted.

I haven't seen how the RK are set up, my little Mahindra eMax uses turnbuckles with a locknut. I carry an adjustable end wrench in the tool box, after I adjust them I hold them firmly and tighten the locknut..they stay where I set them.

I've not seen that method used before. Looks fairly simple yet effective.

My first tractor- Ford 4WD 1700 - had turnbuckles with lock nuts. I did just like shovelmike, post #14, does. As long as I got the lock nuts tight it worked just fine.

If the IO has a turnbuckle style stabilizer, it should have some means if locking the turn ability of the turnbuckle once tightened. This should also be turn of top links. If there is not, one if the screw rods will be right handed threads, so pull it apart and take it with you to a hardware store and buy 2 nut to use as a lock nut (one for each stabilizer).
One other point, as your lower arms travel through the lifting range, tightness will vary. It is possible that this could be an issue. Always tighten to allow the swing you desire at the height you plan to work the implement (or as close as possible if a ground engaging implement).
