It's just my guess. Muhammad is the only moderator I believe. Moderators sometimes have strong personal opinions about the threads they are monitoring. Hard to wear two hats.

There are 3 or 4 moderators that I know of. Possibly more, but I dont know.

IMO...
I think some took the forum title literally...thus the porch pictures...
...think of it (the new forum) as more of a "lounge"...just a place to discuss/post missives about every day life etc. ...sort of like what gets discussed on porches everywhere...

I think that the Front Porch was started because during the "2,000,000th Post Contest" there were a few people who were posting very large numbers of posts that had nothing to do with tractors in order to get the contest to end at a certain time.

There were some who complained about all these posts in forums on different topics because they would have to read through 3 pages of gibberish in order to find an actual post on the subject matter.

The Front Porch was created so that these individuals who wanted to post so much back and forth to each other would have a place to do so without raising the hackles of other members who wanted to stick to the facts.

That's the good part about TBN. There is a place for everybody.
