Kubota B2920
My question is about hauling a Kubota B2920 tractor on a Rice 6'x12' single axle trailer.

The trailer manufacturer says the trailer is rated up to 1700 lbs.

The Kubota B2929 is 1550 lbs. according to Google. We have a front end loader on and that is probably not considered in the 1550 lb. number. And, the rear tires are loaded.

Would you consider trying to haul the tractor on that trailer?

Thanks.

I had a 2620 several years ago. I pulled it on a tandem axle trailer with brakes on one axle.
One axle braking was okay.

A single axle trailer and no brakes would not be safe.

You will be trying to stop close to 4,000lbs plus your tow vehicle with just your vehicles brakes.

The 1700# rating includes the weight of the trailer. I wouldn't put it on a single axle trailer. The FEL probably weighs 400# without an attachment and if the tires only have 25 gallons of water, that will add another 200#. You are going to be overweighted. Get a double axle trailer with 2 3500# axles at the least.

As other said the strain on the wheel bearings.

I’m guessing that’s the actual capacity and it probably has a 3500 pound axel or at least close to that. Hauling the 1500 pound tractor on that trailer would be easily doable. Hauling the tractor plus loader plus loaded tires plus any implements is probably asking too much.

Thank you for your reply. It sounds like a stretch that I shouldn't do.

I traded in my relatively new 6' x 12' single axle trailer for a BigTex dual axle, 7,000 lb/axle trailer with dove tail ramps and brakes, once I bought a tractor.
I also went ahead and bought a F250 diesel just in case.
