Just picked up some alfalfa yesterday.Bales weight around 1800lbs,only got 10@ $150pc. Still waiting on finding some good cow hay.........

freestone county,around buffalo tx. Looking for around 60 bales really just depends on size and$$,Thanks!!!

How can you wrap at that light of weight? Here you need to be below 14% moisture or over 35% or so to have them keep when wrapped. A normal big square balage bale weighs 1000 kg or so.

I guess you refer to 120x120 bales. Common size to wrap here, is 80x90 bales from a New Holland BB940 baler. Some wrap 120x80 bales too but they have a dead point on the wrapping table, and dont wrap evenly.

Another few loads of hay went out. I didn't get the pic of 90 bales on the truck (power tailgate down makes the bed 3 ft longer than a regular long box) but here is the truck with 55 bales and the trailer with 250. Nothing crazy as it had to go about 100 miles. The straps are off and the boys are unloading it already in the pic.

Its a 5.4 auto F350 crew cab 4wd.

used to be able to buy some really good horse hay in Marquez... but that source, along with Leon co. has pretty much dried up.. Hoping it comes back this next season..

Yeah it did,its green around here now,just as you said hope the grass comes back. Im going saturday to pick up I hope my last 10 round bales then turn in on rye grass pastures later on. We picked up a load of rice hay just outside Marquez this year. My neighbor has some really good Tifton85 fields,he sales some squares but he made round this year and sold early,and ran out himself.Cant say I didnt tell him he made a mistake,right after he done it Oh yeah he also said he thought I wouldnt need any is why he didnt ask me........

Well its only 10 bales but should be it for this winter
