I once had a high-milage, very well travelled Volvo 245 station wagon that was a dull orange, named Giselle, don't know why, for sure, but the name seemed right. My older Kubota, about the same orange color, shares the name, though it's not high milage or well travelled.

Good point about country of origin. I tried to learn where most of the major brands are made when looking to buy. I found this pretty difficult to pin down, partly because even within a brand their models can be made in different countries. Bottom line is most are "not made in the USA." Sad.

A sure sign that things are screwed up is when a product normally made in Dothead India is outsourced to China; because the Commies work for less Rupees than the Indians do.
