Has anyone built a brush rake?

I did not remember this thread, but I see I was the first to respond to the OP -who, as so often happens, never came back to us. Post #11 shows what I would have expected to be known as a brush rake, and usually called a root rake in Australia. I had one on an ancient IH two wheel drive tractor of fairly small hp, but it was very effective. For heavy work I called in my neighbour and his D4 just as shown in the photo at #11.
