Vermont will want to collect six percent whether North Carolina does or not. How they can ship 1400 lbs. 912 miles to me free is a mystery. A very good looking unit that would last long past my expiration date. I'll at least use it to twist my John Deere dealers arm some.

You know where rocks like this one are they don't move around much but his little buddies seem to move upwards in a never ending stream. I hate the ones that are just big enough to get wedged between the plow shares.

Yeh, we have rocks like that as well....

Plant primarily clover warm weather. Brassicas, beets & turnips for fall. Also have planted some soybeans on occasion.

Have you tried peas or alfalfa? And which clover, and with or with out a grass such as Timothy?

My father used to seed Timothy and red clover with a cover crop of green oats. He was trying for high quality hay for horses and cattle but the deer never seemed to object to his choices. Both have the advantage of lasting for years if fertilized properly.

No peas.... yes alfalfa... did well, nothing remarkable.

White ladino clover. They absolutely hammer clover. Have used the designer brands as well as the clover available from the local ag supply store.
From what I can tell, there does not appear to be anything special about the designer brands. Pure clover, or as close as you can get it. No Timothy thrown in.

Not sure where you are located, but Lawe's Ag in Brandon does a great job and they are very helpful.

Yeah I'd like to escape the designer deer plot hype. I planted alfalfa after corn. It lasted about four years and the deer liked it if anything too much. I've planted red clover but never the Ladino. Do you think it is superior/
