Harbor Freight Tools that don't suck

Anyone have the HF dremel? There is a really cheap looking $9.99 one and a $24.99 red one. I tried to search, to see if anyone already brought these up, but the search function is garbage.

The blue one is a waste of money in my opinion....I through it away after 5 minutes

Yes, I have two of the red ones, and they are excellent. Good power. They run on full 120v ac. You'll see them once in awhile on a "Super Coupon" for $17.99. But they are worth the money at $24.99, even before a 20% regular coupon.

I also have two of the cheaper ones, which run on 12v dc converted from 120v ac. They are toys, only for very light duty. E.g., filing your dog's nails. :)

Why not?
I haven't used one much, but man, when I did, it was perfect.

Seems like an impact driver (Impact Screwdriver Set with Case) to me. Would rather not use it, but when it's needed, it's THE required tool.

The short answer is that I bought a plasma cutter and can split anything. You are right in that a nut splitter is great when it's needed and there are times when nothing else will do. That's why I still have mine but I haven't used it in more than a year.
