Harbor Freight Tools that don't suck

It says it right here:
.... . .......... . . ............. . .. .........
So there you go.
If it was a HF magnifying glass they wouldn't see it anyway.
Well, you could it you first disassembled the HF magnifying glass, polished it up and then reassembled with the pieces in proper order this time.

Wouldn't help. I had forgotten that I once bought 'Vivitar' binoculars at HF. That was a reputable camera-accessory brand, the last time I bought a Vivitar product.

Not any more. HF's supplier obviously bought only the trademark. HF's 'Vivitar' binoculars were a bad practical joke. The axes of the lens pointed in different directions, the image was bleary mis-focused weird pale colors like when your printer ran out of ink, (& different pale colors in the two eyepieces), and the magnification was nowhere near the web description. I returned it. The item soon disappeared off HF's website. Total junk. I hope they got a refund for the whole batch from their supplier.

Omg I sold some of those cheap Chinese binoculars for my boss at the flea mkt tool tent this summer.

They sucked so bad. I have to try all the stuff out (I do have integrity) and I will give an honest opinion to my customer if they ask...

but they still buy it anyways.

So subject change here...since I do sell Tekton tools too, I got a set of these to toss in the Craftsman tool bag I carry my Milwaukee 2763 impact wrench (how sacrilegious hey :D) to replace some similar chromed ones I was using that came from some set I picked up somewhere with an extendable handle. Not a good thing to do use chromed plated sockets like that.

So does anyone have the Frieght Flip sockets? It is only a 2 socket set I see online. 62491

I also have a 3pc set of the colored freight metric lug sockets with plastic sleeves.
Look nice hey ;)

The sleeves are long gone did not fit most wheels anyway. Sokets have took some abuse too. All freight sells now is a 7 pc or 11 pc heavy duty set I see.

Search results for: 'lug nut'

How about those torque sticks anyone buy them??? A local tire shop uses them I have seen

I have the flip sockets. They are good so far, just remember, if you forget the 1/2" ×3" extension, you have a completely useless socket.

Very few companies will warranty thin wall impact sockets because they are more or less disposable if you use them a lot. They will crack eventually.

The regular impact sockets are still warrantied for life though, and they are very good for the price. A word of advise, Pittsburg impact sockets are chrome vanadium (same material as a chrome socket), while the Pittsburg Pro impact sockets are chrome moly (typical impact socket material). The Cr-V sockets are still stronger than a chrome socket, and I haven't had any trouble with them yet.

Cable ties not very good. Made with a brittle plastic. Broke a few with my hands just tightening them.
