So I bought a Banks roofing nailer last week 15deg Coil Roofing Nailer for a little building I needed to put a roof on. The nailer had a bunch of good reviews and I will say that after doing my little roof the gun worked without a hitch! Had a 20% off coupon to so it was like $95!

I used one to help a guy do his roof over. It worked very well. It jammed occasionally but clearing is simple. Nice machine.

I never comment about the Pred engines, I have 3, one replaced a Honda that tossed a rod and Honda said TS. Never had a issue with any of them. Very reliable, always start first or second pull and I run the bags out of them too.

Good to know. Maybe someday when I’m on fixed income I will take that plunge. For now, I’m a Honda guy when it comes to small engines.

I知 probably in the driving a lot of screws category and I致e found torx head screws to be far better then square ones.
I have never had any issue with either but the square head bits wear out faster than the torx bit and the torx bit does a lot better for the long screws in the bigger diameter. When you get to size 8 and larger you need a torx head screw.

I found 1/4" self tapping trailer deck screws with a hex head that worked really well also. I doubt you could drive those with any other type of bit.

Torx or NAS1800 if you need to get around the trademark is the best drive by far! If you haven't used Torx head, try it... nothing compares.

I hated the Torx bolts on Audi, VW and Porche clutches, prone to stripping out. I like them for decking screws.

I think I've had more Torx drivers and screw heads strip out than anything else. Points are too fine and won't take much ooomph. The deck screws get loaded with gunk too, almost like concrete ... hard to clean out.
