and read thru the entire thing; on page 16, it says
"29. Set the MIG Flux / Spool Gun Switch
to MIG Flux Gun.
30. Point the Gun away from all objects.
Press and hold the Trigger until the wire feeds
through the end of the Gun two inches."
That's the ONLY place they say ANYTHING about this;
From your description on how much wire comes out, it sounds like there's a TIMER somewhere they forgot to mention; if so, they ALSO forgot to mention how to DISABLE said "secret" timer... (as mentioned by TMGT while I was writing this :=)
Other than that, I got nuttin' - both of my Miller migs feed til you stop pulling the trigger. There IS a "stitch" timer on the MM252, but I've never used it... Steve
