Title changing hands, with (sometimes) lawyers present and big fat checks bouncing around is closing to me.
How long was this house on the market? There are all sorts of little gotcha's that can crop up before the title changes hands.
I don't get it? They should be able to look at your contract offer and bring it to their realtors attention. The seller is loosing money here... hello? Was there something in the contract like non-contingency or what??? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

seems to me there was /is a little hanky panky going on there. sorry if you missed out on the property. don't you just hate when you are hosed? /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif
My guess would be to watch the papers etc. If the realtor "sold" it to his kin, chances are the property will be back on the market in no time........at a higher price of course.

I went thru the same thing about 15 years ago on a 21 acre lot. Friend of the realtor grabbed it out from under me.
They made a deal to subdivide.
My agent admited is wasnt handled correctly but his hands were tied. The Realtor was his boss!

Seems to me there would be some legal footing to stand on....What this realtor is doing is illegal and unethical....He probably belongs to a board of realtors...A simple phone call may shake things up a bit.
