Not tractor related (maybe) but this worked great. Was putting a hitch on my car yesterday and had drilled two 1/2 inch holes in the underbody frame rails that had to have a Grade 5 carriage bolt and backing sleeve (parts shown are NOT to scale, just for example) installed in the boxed area, from the opening at rear of body a FOOT away from holes.

Instructions that came with hitch said to "fishwire" the two bolt/sleeve assemblies into place.

What I did, used hot melt glue to make bolt/sleeve one solid part, then tied a length of dental floss to it, in case one came loose from my claw pickup tool. But they didn't, and using this method I got both assemblies seated in the boxed frame rails in less than 30 seconds per side.

Hopefully this idea may help someone else. Sorry for poor quality picture but it shows the concept.
