The reason I installed the kit on my 1120 was to have increased pulling power, or at least it seems that way. With the kit installed you bring the engine speed up to whatever you want and the floor pedal then acts like the hydro pedal on your HST. If you hook something you need to pull with your tractor you don’t start out with engine at idle speed. Also if your setting for extended times and need to idle the engine you can raise the idle speed to allow for increased cooling and charging. They were originally needed for front mounted hydraulic brooms so max hydraulic flow could be maintained while in operation.
