Hand-Throttle Cable - RTV 900

I just bought the hand-throttle cable kit to install on my RTV 900 purchased new in June 2006. Anyone else out there have any experience with the hand throttles?

I don't, but i do alot of field surveying with ours and always thought it would be nice if the RTV's had some sort of hand throttle/cruise control. Is your kit used just to speed up the motor for the hydraulics?

I put one on.
Helps a lot in rough terrain. Torque is RIGHT THERE when the engine is already revved.
