I have a new 5085E w/ H260 loader. The latch washer/spring seems to be hitting the carrier frame when pulling the latch into the release position. The contact prevents the pin/handle from pulling all the way back into the locked (open) position. The dealer came out and put an entire new latch assembly on the carrier, thinking the pin was bent somehow. However, the same thing happens with the new parts. I attached a diagram of the loader carrier and latch. Parts D and G (washer and nut) are hitting B at the edge where the spring goes through the carrier. The dealership has submitted a ticket to Deere to see if they can solve it. Have any of you seen this?

Thanks, but I've seen that thread. That has to do with the strike plate not contacting the latch to lock the pin closed.

Understood, just thinking the pictures may be useful to compare to your loader to see if it's assembled the same way. It wouldn't be the first time something came assembled wrong from the factory and the mechanic copied the error with the new part thinking the pin was bent, etc.

If you have a pic or two we may be able to help you out there.

I was able to figure it out. The dealer didn't assemble the latch properly. The latch pin (part J above) was on the wrong side of the latch bar.
