Gypsum

   / Gypsum #11
We supply many farmers with gypsum for pastures and hay fields.

Gypsum is well known for loosening tight clay soils. In most cases gypsum will not change pH. A soil test would be needed to determine the application rate.

You should also be sure to test organic matter which is often low in clay soils and can be corrected with manure or compost.
