Anyone ever change the brakes on a GT262? Got one coming in that owner says as very little brakes and sounds like metal on metal.

Wow. That will be an interesting repair and probably expensive if you have to tear the transmission apart.
I never knew anyone used the brake enough to wear the 3 pads out.

Yea, trying to find out the procedure. There is a side plate where the brake rod goes. Couldn't be that easy, could it?

I just don't know.
This parts drawing is unclear to me as to whether the pads are inside or not.
I would not think it has wet brakes so maybe the plate will come off without having to take the rear end out.:confused3:
