GT235 Mower Deck Zerk Replacement

I have two, that will not take grease. I tried the "heat" trick, to no avail. Are they simply removed by pulling them out, say with vise grips? I'm not sure where to source new ones... thanks for the assist in advance.

Thanks... my impression was that they were the drive-in type, because they aren't backing out when I turn them CCW.

They could be the press in type....TSC has them also...Or you could get this tool to clean them out.....Amazon.com: Performance Tool W5429 Grease Fitting Cleaning Tool: Automotive

You can find the grease fittings on the Deere parts schematic: https://partscatalog.deere.com/jdrc/

If you copy and paste the part number for the fitting into google, you can find a description. The one deck I looked at (there are several models for your tractor) indicated it was a drive in fitting.
