Growing Old With Dignity

I have seen people just plain drop dead and others that didn't deserve years of torture, I have seen many stop eating because there was no other way, death can be quick or it can be a living he!!, not much we can about any of it.

My mom stopped eating and went that way. It was tough for all of us but at least she went on her terms. She lasted about 2 weeks without food.

Last couple of posts kinda went off into silly territory for some reason.

Can't figure out why people have to do that instead of sticking with reality and the topic at hand.

Simple fact is, in a civilized society, none of the last few pages of examples would be necessary. Doctors would help instead of forcing us to suffer or make choices that could harm others.

My moment's done past. Ain't no pearly to them gates. All rusted, bent and falling down. Place is more or less abandoned and really boring. The Old Guy just kind of sits there mumbling to himself, picking ticks out of his beard all the time.

Most of us left and came back here for another go at getting to the party place. Even harder to get in there than most realize.

Let's face reality. At some point all of us will be at a point where we have no future. That's the time to go - with dignity.

Yeah... the moral dilema is there is a lot of profit in keeping people alive long enough to strip away all of their assets and health care coverage.

A trust is very important.

The truth is often a sad statement.

The truth is that too many of us will suffer excruciatingly in hopes of getting somewhere that will not meet the image portrayed in propaganda.
