i have to get going on finishing the necessary mods to my 59" blower before winter gets here. i know i asked this before, but can't find it now...what is the clearance of the lowest point of the mount and the ground (factory setup)? tractor model isn't important, clearance is clearance.

thanks.

It would depend a bit on the front tire size (diameter). What do you have now?

i have R4's on it, so i would presume (without going out to check) that they are 25x8.50-14 (according to manual).

my frame rails are 9 1/2" apart but my front mount is 9 9/16" wide. i need to get it machined down to 9 7/16" so i can fit it up in there. until then, i can only estimate that i will have about 10" of ground clearance, which is still at least 4" under the front axle.

i forgot what tractor the mount is for, the blower is technically a 359 that i changed the gears to make a into a 59. whichever tractor used a front mounted pulley to drive it, is what it originally fit.
