On my Jacobsen HR-15 mower, the brake drums had an outside edge that was interfering with some new dually wheels. Rather than pull the drums and take to a machine shop, a bench grinder worked great. A tad bit dangerous having an open grinding wheel and machine axles turning.
I got smarter on other side of machine and turned the grinder around, sending sparks into the floor rather than my face.
