gresen hydraulic J6 valve

I have Gresen hydraulic J6 valve controlling my Du-al loader

it has always been leaking today I noticed it looked like it was coming out of the center plug. i figured it needed an o ring

removed it an did not have an o-ring to fit

reinstalled it an it sheared right off. possibly was cracked before, because i did not put much force on it


gresen is now owned by parker and i can not find any info to get a new plug

How about a picture. What center plug?

Is is leaking on the end of the valve , or the port between the work ports.

I believe that is your load check valve to keep the load from shifting as you move the levers.

Are those 90 degree fittings galvanized fittings? If so, not a good thing.

So where can i find a load check valve cap?

Yes they are Galvanized fittings
that is the way i got the tractor
what is bad with it and how should I fixit?

Just remove those fittings, and replace with hyd fittings, as those pipe fittings are only rated for low pressure.

As far as the cap, you might have to get that from Gresen. It might have a function other than a cap.

If you take it to a hyd shop, they might be able to find a cap for you or tell you where to get one.

It is a low pressure pump mounted on my pto shaft and all the lines on the loader are cast iron pipe too

so maybe I am safe?
