I have a 1965 Ford tractor. It was running rough so I rebuilt the carb and replaced fuel filters. Started very well after that but it would not accelerate. Checked air filter and air passages. All was good. Replaced points and rotor. Still will not accelerate. Anyone have an idea what to do next? Thanks

Hello & welcome from Iowa.

Are there separate carb jet adjustment screws for load & idle? I learned the hard way on a 60's vintage Deere carb that it'd start & run great, but with the load jet not adjusted right, it'd die as soon as I tried to do anything. But there's gotta be a lot of guys on here that know a lot more about this than me. Good luck!
