Wow, it's been five years since I had my YM 240. Looking at the pictures in the brochures reminded me that I really did like the looks and durability of that tractor. That lime green was a "love it" or "hate it" color, it sure did look good when cleaned up. My wife had it when we got married, she got it in 1980, I think. We got married in '86 and I ran it until 1999. Never had any mechanical problems, but traded it on a newer Kubota to get power steering, 4wd and a FEL. I think it was about $6K new and I got $3500 for it when I traded it back to the dealer who sold it originally. Tried to sell it private but time was limited and everyone in this area was looking for a tractor with a FEL at that time. I still think the seat was more comfortable than the one on my new Kubota.
