I just want to say thank you to everyone contributing to this forum. It is amazing what you can learn just by lurking here. I now know that my 240D has a dipstick in the front diff and what oil it takes. It was at the bare minimum when I checked. It is great to have access to so many guys with such sound knowledge on the subject and who are so willing to provide the information.

Good to have you aboard. One big happy family here. I lurked for about eight months and read through 80-some back pages before I found my 2000B. Don't forget to search through the old stuff as well when you have any questions. Out of curiosity, how long does it take for part to reach SA from the US ?

Hi Bruce. For small items like books, small parts etc. using normal postage about 4 to 6 weeks. I have never had anything delivered by Parcel Service from the US as it is WAY too expensive (often exceeding the cost of the part). Larger items brought in by container ship takes about 2-3 Months. Sometimes even longer (if our super efficient customs service have their way)

Spyder2 it is a nice place, I have been to see some of the people on here .And they were just good old boys. And I am going to see a lot more .I have talk to a lot of then on the phone .There is one in Texas that calls ever week just to talk.I had one dealer on here told me if I would bring my Tractor and the parts to him he would fix my Tractor and I did not buy it from him.Just good People.And I thought good people were getting hard to find . Now I see they are ever were.
