BTW, we lost power about 20 minutes ago. One of many throughout the year.

I'd have thought it would have followed the line up from Lake Michigan, but it takes a hard westerly path across those handful of western UP counties, then even further west into the lake, then back east to the US Canadian border point on the other side of the lake.

Do I have to much confidence in you guys?. All the lakes are in the same time zone to simplify shipping. So if you stand in the Duluth harbor water, you are in the Eastern time zone. In case you didn't know, all of MN is far in central TZ.

That's how i heard it too, but was thinking more along the line of having all the train stations in the same time zone.

We're in northern MN for the Easter weekend and went over one of the bridges seen in pics or videos commonly seen in the Duluth harbor. On the way home we'll try take pictures of boats there. Maybe the spousal unit to drive.

Sad to say we took the Bong bridge coming back which is more inland and not much to see. below is a dated photo taken while it was under construction. The other taken from US two as we passed through Superior WI. The American Sprit is a 1000 footer and stilling being worked on. Sorry we didn't get much.

In Duluth MN yesterday a bit of Rail and Sail as a CP Eco runs to Rices Point yard light power while the Burns Harbor and American Mariner loads at CN Dock 6.
