greasing a 3016

geased my 3016 today look under the tractor could not find any zerks to grease ligages exc am i missing any thanks ed

I am quite sure you are missing something.... Check the manual.

I wish I had the manual just called dealer they are mailing me the manual today received BH and loader but not tractor manual my mistake for not checking paper work when I receive it thanks anyways

If its an HST there should be 4 grease fittings(2 on each side)for the cross shafts for the pedals, one for the front axle pivot, the 2 tie rod ends and one on the steering cylinder end. Hope I am not forgetting something but think that gets all the ones on the tractor.
I would also recomend lubricating any of the linkage and moving parts that dont have fitting with some form of a sprak lube or white lithium spray.

It's a shuttle I think I found them all checked every rolling and pivot point on the tractor up top and under loader and BH thanks

Lower BH bucket pin no zerk on that pin is that mean missing or normal little hole in center this is BH 3720

I have zerks on every pin. You say you have a small hole? Should be a zerk in it.

Will have to remove pin drill and tap a new one in just will call dealer to find out thread size so they are all the same

Look in the end of the dipper stick where the bucket is attached. There should be a zerk on the bushing that is greased from the end of the dipper stick.

I did just a small hole never had one because paint is over the pin hole no threads

Yeah. There should be a zerk in that bushing. If you PM me your address, I will send some zerks out to you.

If anyone need new zerks for the 3720 BH they are 1/4-28 short.

Thanks for that tidbit on the zerk size. I bought my 3016 with the BH and several of the zerks where stripped when they installed them at the factory. The first time I went to lube them they pulled right out.
