That is my L3010 - 30 hp. You are right - the tooth bar made a huge difference using the bucket grapple for both logs and rocks. It is a WR Long tooth bar. It is a very capable grapple.

Great pics deleted for brevity...

Hi GG,

Thanks, but I actually recognized the toothbar as a WR Long, it's those side crenulations I was asking about on the lateral edges of your bucket.

Thanks,
PA

I agree that a tooth bar makes it hard to clean loose material off down to a hard surface like sand on asphalt but back dragging is not a problem. Just use the wear plate on the heal of the bucket.

I also agree that having a separate grapple with a SSQA makes the most sense but in the case of my L3010 there is no SSQA. I would say that the bucket grapple and tooth bar are a great way to go. I do a ton of work with that combo and pound for pound there is little it won't do.

gg

I also don't have a QA bucket, so instead I lust for a bucket grapple like Gordo's, and I already have a PTB from Harry, so all I'd need [in addition to that little petty cash item- the 3rd fcn or other remote hydraulic circuit] is to weld on some of them side teeth he has on his bucket, and I'd be good to go!

[In other words, ignore my previous crenulations question- your pictures #1 and #5 above answered it- and it also looks to be a great way to stiffen your bucket against the counter-torque from closing the grapple too.]

Thanks again,
PA

Hello,
My friend is going to order grapple similar to your in picture, but black and without these tiny nails. Will this model fits for forest works?
Thing is that he's going to order it from company we know nothing about, but price seems relatively good. Any ideas or notices regarding the quality?

That's a skidsteer bucket. 450kg is way too heavy for a compact utility tractor.

Agree Travis. Might be an unauthorized advertisement but I figured I'd answer anyways.

Sorry, I won't post such links any more. Just found something that seems good for me and posted.

What would you recommend instead? (My Tractor John Deere T 6050)

I don't know of a John Deere T6050. New Holland makes a T6050 which is a utility tractor.

What is the weight of the tractor, how many horsepower and what is the loader lift capacity?
