Or maybe that should be pole vaulting grapples.:rolleyes:

I was moving some telephone poles for my neighbor with my grapple yesterday. Most of the poles were about 10' long and I could pick them up from the side and maneuver them through the trees. This pole was almost 20' long and I discovered I did not have my chain with me to drag it. I wasn't sure if the grapple could handle it, but it did a great job.:cool::)

It would be fun to ride that log - wouldn't it? There was a time in my life, when I would try that for sure:D

Oh my! Prokop, to use your expression, Im a bit "overgrown" myself. I'm afraid my weight on the end of that pole would have put the rear wheels into the air.:eek:

Thomas: Good power steering and 4wd are both my "friends" when doing this.
