Loader grapple hydrulic hook up 305 loader

I do not have rear hydraulic hook ups on my 3038e. I just put a root grapple on and need to hook my grapple cylinder to my hydraulics. I added (ts) to each end of my dump cylinder and ran hoes to the grapple cylinder thinking when I dumped my bucket it would open the grapple and when I raised my bucket it would close the grapple. After hooking it up my bucket worked fine, but it did not operate my grapple cylinder. does anyone know why this didn't work and how I can get my grapple cylinder to work.
