I'm building a second home in the 'mntns' and will need to do some final grade work on the lawn area and also in my orchard, where a pair of wayward pigs tore things up last Fall. Will a york rake suffice? or do I need a rear blade?
I have a 'virgin' 2320, chomping at the bit...

The area you want to grade will have to be tilled up first before you can use either the rake or blade unless the dirt is already loose. I'd go with the landscape rake it will give you a better finish and get it ready for reseeding.

If you already have a York Rake- try it. I would try a box blade or a 3pt blade for initial grading and then the york to finish before seeding.
