Not often I get to use it in the summer months because It's used only for snow clearing. Wifey said the front fence had to go and she ordered 67 Hedge plants to go in it's place. Problem #1. No back hoe attachment but I decided to dig it with the front bucket. Actually worked out pretty good considering there were a few big rocks here and there. Got to use the forks to move a few things around as well.

After I got it all dug out I filled it with top soil and did the planting. Man it was sure nice to sit in the air conditioned cab and I almost forgot how nice the air ride seat felt :)

Wifey is very happy now :D

I wonder what folks were thinking, driving by and seeing you out front with the snow blower on......

Heck of a good job Paul, yes your FEL will dig a nice trench if you stay with it.. Not as fast as a backhoe but I don't have a backhoe either:laughing:
Your overall job has that attention to detail and completeness you put into all of your work.

Thanks man. Wifey wouldn't let me buy a smaller tractor to do it.

Hey my friend. I sure got a pile of weird looks. I bet they thought I was going to use the blower to spread the topsoil

Nice Job!

Thanks!

Thanks James for your nice comments. I was going to rent a small backhoe but couldn't get one when I was ready to do it so I figured the tractor would have to do it. Had a few friends stop by and say the tractor might need therapy after seeing dirt for the first time  Hope all is well with you and yours.

Artisan that's a good idea :) I'd rather make a trimmer than repair that old fence again

What James said, great job.

Thanks buddy. How's the new 5740? You like?

Oh man. I know, it's sad. My therapist said I shouldn't talk about it

Well, knowing you, I would guess you spent some quality time washing it afterwards, and that would negate any need for therapy. Too bad you didn't make a video, since you did a fine job considering no backhoe!

Paul the ole Kioti has 89 hours on it now since April. I will try to get out this weekend if it is sunny, and take some photo's. The barn was built in one hot afternoon by some fellows from south of the border.. uh that is south of OUR border for you guys in Canada:) They sure work hard and fast.

Weird looks? No doubt! You probably scared half the province to run home and flip on the Weather Channel! "What's wrong dear? Paul got the tractor out! There's gotta be a huge nor'easter coming in! Probably 3' of snow!"

Oh man you know me to well  it was hard scrubbing between the tire threads  got it done though :D I was going to do a video but it was a time restriction thing and just didn't have enough time.

Your doing good with 89 hours. I only have 76 on my old Bota and mine is a year old  that's a nice looking machine you have there. Im looking forward to seeing the photos. I could give it a good home but it sure looks comfortable in its new stable

Nice looking tractor!!

Thank you. :)

Nice job. I really like that Cab. In regards to the Tractor :thumbsup:

Thank you. Ya the cab is great. That's one thing I really like about these Grand L cabs, they designed them right. No drafts, great cooling and heating. I'm happy :)

Oh man what a great option. No more dragging out the shop vac, looking for extention cords. May have to upgrade the alternator though. That sucker sure draws the amps

 Its funny you wrote that because I had guys stopping by telling me to put the tractor away because I was going to jinx the weather. One guy thought I was going to spread the top soil with the blower. I told him I was hoping to but I thought there was to much stone in it

I didn't recognize your tractor without the flashing lights on and no snow in the picture.
