And what are your thoughts on oils for this? I don't really want to switch to synthetic because as we know, it cleans deposits and "could" cause leaks. Just use a regular 15W40 like Rotella in engine?
I use Rotella 15w-40 in mine. I'm in Virginia so Winters are not brutal here. The only two places where you can probably find an original light switch would be a New Holland dealer or a tractor bone yard if you have any near you. eBay might, also.And what are your thoughts on oils for this? I had a pail full of knobs of all types from my old Mustang and F100 parts but none are big enough for the shaft on the tractor switch. Good stuff, but mostly only goes up to 1964.Check Dennis Carpenters site he is known for having OEM and OEM reproduction parts.
