Made the 15 hour round trip yesterday and got my new to me Ford 3000 home! Runs awesome. No smoke or noises. Has couple marks but it was a working tractor. The seller showed me videos of it pulling 8 or 10 foot discs on his farm field before he rebuilt it.

Just need to get manuals and a headlight switch for it. The knob is missing.

Has a couple nice touches. The headlights have LED accent rings around them and it has blue LED lights that light up under the hood and the engine.
Just have to put the toplink back on it and the light switch and tie up some wiring better.

Has optional diff lock, 12 volt with the tach drive converted to run off alternator, brand new rear remotes and valve installed on it.

Only disappointment was I broke my 2 year old trailer on the second time I ever pulled it.

Despite the big decal that says max PAYLOAD 5700 pounds, my Ford bent two crossmembers under the floor. Teach me for buying aluminum. But really not happy with the quality of this Interco/Bearco trailer.
Already had to have a bunch of cracks welded under warranty just driving it home with my RTV in it after buying them both.

I put one of my 20 ton jacks under the crossmembers before i unloaded tractor and I got the floor pushed back up level but I can see it move now with just me standing in it.

But at least I made it home.

Now I need help. What year and location of manufacture is this tractor?

I'm told this is the VIN number....according to the VIN locator on TractorData.

Looks like it says B061729??

So with the B prefix....is this a Belgium tractor?

Jan 27, 1967, B shift. I think that the B shift is the second shift.
Also, there should be a label on the underside of the hood that opens.
It will have all the info on the tractor. The raised numbers are casting pr part numbers. The Ford part number will tell you the decade and year of inception that particular part, and the area of the tractor where the part is used.

I've taken a pencil and covered all the stamped numbers to make them easier to read. Try that and then get me the numbers again.

According to Tractor Data:

The Ford 3000 would have an A (Belgium), B (England), or C (United States) prefix to the serial number depending on where it was built.

3000 Serial Numbers
1965C100000
1966C124200
1967C161300
1968C190200
1969C226000
1970C257600
1971C292100
1972C327200
1973C367300
1974C405200
1975C450700

I used chalk and a light at different angles and this is what I got...starting top, then middle then bottom lines:

7A27B
7B2
B064729.......BUT that last 9 could be an 8 or 0?
