Backhoe Got My Backhoe This Week

I got my new back hoe for my JD 790 this week and I love it.

I was quoted $7000.00 for a new backhoe when I bought my tractor a couple of years ago. I Have been looking for a used one, since I was too cheap to spring that kind of money. I finally found it.

I got a brand new Bradco 3375 backhoe from the same dealer as the tractor complete with subframe, hydraulic lines and rollbar extention for $4500.00. That was $2500.00 off of list. Apparently someone had ordered it and never picked it up. They had a big winter inventory reduction sale and I lucked out.

I have played with it a little bit and I am starting to get the hang of it. Actually I was suprised at how fast I was able to pull a couple of stumps that I have been knawing down with the bush hog. I think I need a thumb now. Any Plans for building one? I work for a large steel building fabrication and erection company so I thought it might be a fun project for this winter.
