Got bees?

It's early in the season but I have more bees buzzin' around my first budding tree than I have had in years. Flowers, too, busy as can be. Anyone else notice anything different?

It is about the same in Iowa.

My bees have been out and bringing in pollen like crazy, I just added two bottom boxes to my hive I think this year they will be able to store a lot of honey. I just hope a cold snap doesnt kill off a bunch of the flowers.

I had posted this in another thread, somewhere, but this is the 1st year in 6, that I haven't even seen a honey bee. I "had" 2 hives in trees on the property, so they where fairly common. I even walked into the wild plum thickets and no bee's where there is usually 1000's.
