My Tach stops working shortly after startup; it runs for approximately 15 to 20 minutes.
I haven't taken the Dash apart yet.
My question is, is there a quick way to get the dash out so I can check the connections ?

Thanks ahead of time.

So the tach does work and then stops. I would say your tach gauge works fine. The question is the cable and the cable end interfaces.
15 to 20mins tells me the tach works until something heats up and expands. Then the connection to drive the tach is disconnected.

Don't tear into the dash until you know where the cable end goes into the tractor. That's my first guess.
