You are doing it right. Two speed jack and dual drop legs. Dual legs can be a pain, cuz u have to drop 2 of them, but with heavy loads or uneven ground they are well worth it. BTW... when can I borrow it?

Definitely get the dual jacks. I probably wouldn't have been able to jack my loaded trailer up this past weekend without the dual jacks.

The part that I did not understand was the dove tail jack, how would that be used and what do you do with it unless it folds or something?

It allows you to angle the dovetail...see here...towards the bottom of the page...
