The 1950 version, with Stewart Grainger, is by far, the best...I read where it was supposed to be a parody...a comedy take off of Indiana Jones, and it failed miserably. There are two previous versions; I saw the 1950 version, and it was good, and typical of the time. Haven't seen the 1930's version.
