Watched a good move yesterday; "The Moonshine War". It's a bit different; it's not terribly fast moving, but it's a good story with a good ending. NOTE: It's not very PC. Made in 1970.

Kind of a sad movie about an old man though.
It was good and thought provoking.

Friday 6/16/23 at 8:45 PM Central TCM is airing the cult classic, “Barbarella”. Hilarious! Is as if a 12 year old wrote a SciFi space ****.

Following that at 10:30, “Earth Girls Are Easy”. A “B” movie but the net result is much better than that. A handful of relatively unknown stars at the time show why they became stars.

I watched “The Heart is a Lonely Hunter” last night. Alan Arkin movie from the 60’s. A good movie, not great. I often read about a movie and in this case Arkin plays a deaf mute. I looked up to see if his sign language was correct. He apparently did learn sign language for his “lines”. It sounds like his technique was less than stellar but about what you’d expect from someone just learning.
