Good Tractor Morning,

Finished off the day with a fire in the fireplace and some grilled pork chops, I used the same rub on them that I make for the smoked pork shoulders.

Paul, that chop looks excellent

Any thought to putting that anti scalp roller under the support plate for uneven ground?

Engineer, excellent idea on the support wheel, just needs to be a wide footprint I would think.

What I’m finding with my new Zero Turn is that the blades rotate much faster than my old Wheel Horse and I’m able to mulch up most of my leaves on the ground , in the end I do use the lawn sweeper to pick up the mulched leaves that I’ve made rows of. Seems like a lot less work than before with the old mower.

Good Tractor Morning,
Ct, 27 to start going to 45. Cloudy skies I believe, but it’s still dark.

Cleaned up most of the leaves in the yard yesterday and even had time to run to my local state park for a radio activation. Still need to do the pool area, and that will require raking because the Zero Turn won’t fit through the gate

Dennis, sounds like a good book.

Work today, probably will be busy, the fuel assistance started on November 1st, and that really expands our customer base. So it will be an all day event I’m sure.

I can't post pics til I get home but I made a fine liquid container out of an empty
plastic gallon water container ,with a flap retained that closes after use.
and I roughened up the edge.
can only imagine what some of you artists would do/make with a gallon jug
and a requirement of please don't spill

decided to leave earlier this morning thinking this restaurant doesn't open til 11 so there won't be anyone in the parking lot til probably quarter to. So I get there a half hour earlier and seize my intended prize spot along the edge. There are only three small useful spots to park in this lot, I've studied it with google earth, so I figure the early bird gets the worm here. So if Buckeye gets there earlier, I can't go in til 11 so might as well sit in a warm rv. I'm going to hog up some guys favorite spot, maybe I can buy him a free cup of coffee...

me, I'm looking forward to Dennis and a lamb gyro.
One will make me burp happily all afternoon I'm sure.

gosh I wish it were light out earlier
kind of run out of stuff killing time/cleaning.
I've done tank flushes in the dark. Nope, not doing that again.

Good morning TBN!!
43 this morning. Should be in the mid 70s under partly cloudy sky.

Physical day yesterday which I am paying for now. Got the belt and filters installed on my air compressor. I used the tractor to get as close as I could to it's shelter out back of the shop. Then pushed and pulled and lifted it back in to place. Not sure I will be able to do that again with out help. It's upright so it's awkward and top heavy.
Still need to finish bleeding the brakes on the buggy but not sure I can bend over for vey long to accomplish that so I'll see how my Tylenol do or maybe get in to something else.
But for now...

Time for a second cup.

41 this morning saw sun set and sunrise no sleep in between. Very rough night.

45 outside right now, heading to 50 and that is it.

Need to make some beverage and food runs today as we have family and friends coming in starting Monday. The turkey needs to start the dethaw process today.

Otherwise, am still slouching around.

That might be easier on your shoulders than the leaf blower. I'm suffering from something torn in my left shoulder now, which gets extremely agrivated after spending a day blowing leaves wih my similar rig. I was out mowing and blowing yesterday, and could barely move my left arm last night, without a pinching pain in my shoulder.



It's the reversing that does it. Forward is easy, but working a line of leaves, you spend as much or more time in reverse, as forward. Maybe it's time to think about getting one of those zero turns with a steering wheel, that I've made fun of in the past.

I have a JD Front Mower. Having too have both hands on the controls all the time. Was what led me to purchase a front mower. Be prepared for the shock when you get the price for one.

while Kubota and JD make great commercial mowers I would not
miss checking out Cub Cadet commercial. Their high end stuff is impressive, though if you want to play in snow you need awd/4wd. Would be interesting to comparison test them all on a steep damp slope
