Good morning!!!!

Morning all, 55 going to 56 and the sun is up, wind is howling.
Tried leaf pickup yesterday, had a bunch of chores to do first, got 1/3 done and it started raining, enough that leaf pickup got too messy and I had to stop.

Did get out to the movies last night, and got the big Christmas bulb drilled and ready for the light that should show today.

Went to look for my torque sticks to change out the mower blades, no where to be found, but I did find my missing meter. I thought I had put the sticks in with my Impact kit, but not there :-(

Wonder how far my leaf piles moved in this wind....

Nice Welds and design Popgadget. I thought of doing a tow mount for the little wonder,

Dog walk later and see what else I can do, no work out in the woods, too many branches flying.

Be well,

67°F and .04 inches rain actually saw the sun a bit yesterday

Pretty soggy out there, but we sure needed it. Believe we are still officially in drought.

Likely watch some football

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great tractor day

I just bought a new pair of sneakers, that had this tag on one sole. Wonder what it means? Material id, I'm guessing.

45F, partly to mostly cloudy and breezy @ 11:15. That should be the day's high. NW winds @ 15 to 25 with higher gusts possible.

Got entire front mowed down and leaves thoroughly mulched yesterday first thing.

Also got northeast corner down here around the house completed where the deer carcass was.

Plus the west and south sides of the compost/woodlot ... which should pretty much complete mowing and lawn leaf clean up for the year.

The only thing left are the stragglers from the oaks ... which are always very late to come down.

Since the left fuel tank was empty and the other was about on fumes I ran down to the Bell Store in Canal Fulton and picked 3.5 gallons of non-ethanol fuel, treated it with Stabil Marine 360, and filled the right tank on the Cub when I got back.

Gathered up 4 garden hoses and got those stowed away in the barn.

Removed 12" auger from PHD and stowed in the auger storage rack.

Then removed PHD from the Kubota onto the PHD storage stand.

After that I got the quick hitch and box blade put back on the Kubota.

I blew leaves out of the entryway and from in front of the garage while Woman worked on gathering those up and loading them in the dump cart.

Two loads hauled up to the compost pile and dumped.

Around 15:00 Woman took a break for a snack and then ran down and picked me up an order of Pad Thai.

After dinner I headed down into the basement and continued on with the utility room project.

Got the spare washer disconnected and moved back with the spare dryer.

Trimmed a section of foam board and got that glued, put up, and braced.

Then moved the fan and a pair of halogen work lights over to where the washer had been to dry out the damp floor.

That should be dry by now ... so I'll be able to get the floor cleaned up today and the next section of foam board put up.

But first I need to remove another electrical outlet and its conduit.

After that the next 8' section of studs can be put up.

Beyond the above just see what else comes up.

Hope everyone is having a decent Sunday ... (y)

Thanks for sharing that!
I'd never noticed that kind of label before, so I poked around. Apparently it is a common shoe content label these days. I guess I don't buy shoes often enough or something.

Per Google AI;
The image displays a standard label found on footwear, indicating the materials used in different parts of the shoe.
  • Top Row: The upper part (exterior surface) of the shoe is made of leather (the symbol resembling an animal hide).

  • Middle Row: The lining and insole (interior parts) are made of textile (the woven grid symbol).

  • Bottom Row: The outer sole (bottom part) is made of "other materials" (the diamond symbol), which typically means synthetic or non-leather/non-textile materials.
More detail here;

All the best, Peter

60 warm and breezy heading to 65.

Ken, your lights look nice. I was surprised how many houses had Christmas lights already on my drive home last night. Plus, the Caterpillar dealer has decorated a huge tree with lights along the interstate.

Scotty, one guy several miles from us decorated his ham radio tower with lights to make it look like a peppermint stick.
I usually see some flagpoles as candy canes..

Haven't been down 15 past oak hill lately, went by a lot when I had to go that way for work. Remember when they built the fancy golf course and expensive houses across rt 15 from it, was a field before, probably came from the estate..
