Up early again. Another windy day again, already got 15 mph on the gauge and it is semi protected behind the house.
Surprised I was able to find the pic of the weboost.
Spent most of yesterday cleaning up picture directories on computer. I decided to use script to pull the camera info from the metadata, and put that in the title, for what’s that worth.
It did keep me off the streets yesterday, so it had that going for me.
Some big snow flakes at the farm, all watched remotely. Need to go see dad.

Got home from camp late yesterday after a grand few days there. This was taken as the sun came up at camp. Near freezing here this am and today's high is predicted to be 40. More weather is moving in tonight, then dry the rest of the week, which is good for us who are slow getting ready for winter.

having lunch with my oldest childhood friend tomorrow, at this small diner in Franconia PA.
Typical Mennonite restaurant, spotless, homey, unhealthy food unless you really pick and choose.
but when in Rome...I was thinking a bowl of their chili, (assuming they hand make it) and a half cheese steak for 9 bucks
sounds like a good deal. Likely take the cheese steak home for dinner. I bet a bowl of their chili fills me up.
whether it blows me up is tbd.

Good Morning
30° and sunny, might make it to 40, it’s definitely not t shirt weather anymore.

Yesterday was another cleanup day in the shop,as well as infrastructure maintenance.
The old computer that was used as a camera server decided to retire, the fan in the video card was making a racket and the power supply fan quit all together. I replaced the power supply fan, but didn’t have one to fit the graphics card, so I tried to clean and lube it. That sort of worked, but I ultimately decided to replace the computer.
That came yesterday, so I had the pleasure of configuring Windows 11 and installing the camera software, setting it to a fixed IP and setting up the firewall and port forwarding to allow remote access. But it all works now, except that I see the time stamp is off, I’ll set that this morning after breakfast with the professor.

The day ended with my feet up in front of a fire.

Also set up another automatic feeder for the 3D printer, it lets me do multicolor prints or change colors without loading filament. It also lets me run a spool out and switch to a full one on its own. Saves considerable material in the long run.

Mostly shuffling a5 by the weekend. Crazy weather!

Not too much yesterday. Mostly shuffling stuff around in the garage to set up new box and better workflow. Now I don't have to walk from one side of the garage to get bits when I use the drill press
Made a diesel run so I could have heat.
The rest was spent recharging. Surprising what a 10 hour day of driving takes out of you.

Time for a second cup

good morning, 25 to begin with going to 41 and wind is still with us , feels colder

Did manage to bolt down the work table with 8 tapcon screws. The missing hammer drill was found among other corded tools that had been placed on the lower shelf of one of the upright steel cabinets. The reorganization of tools recently makes it harder to find stuff

Glad to see the amount of help that veteran son is getting from the VA. He was able to send us the title for a 2008 Accura that has been sitting on our property. Time to get rid of it

Going for infusion appointment and picking up groceries using the 20 percent off combined with 5 percent senior discount. Pays to stock up at that discount

The radiant and convection heat from the wood stove feels good this morning
