when visiting friends yesterday her Chinese something was blooming, very pretty but dropped squishy
stuff all over walk. Reminds me of smaller prettier gingkos.
What does the inside look like?

I will hope that you are correct that the arms have some loose bolts.

Sorry about your back, and I hope that the pain drops to a level that you can manage well with.

All the best, Peter

Good Sunday Morning. 69°F and no rain

Finished interior mowing with the EGO Z turn. Getting a bit more adept, but still not 100%. I can see where it would be awesome on a nicely manicured estate. Can’t complain about the ride or cut. A neighbor came up yesterday to discuss a project and was very complimentary.

After lunch took the LS with rotary out to my triangle area and got that knocked down again.

Likely be a watch football day today.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

Sunny today. 82 deg.

Wedding went well last night, rain held off, just overcast skies with rain all around.

Good worship today. Didn't go to the usual place for lunch. one of the usual couples said on FB they had Covid, but showed up at worship. We decided to take a little caution and eat elsewhere.

Tonight is hot dog roast after evening worship, starting an hour early due to it getting darker earlier.

78F clear sky.

Finish blowing leaves about noonish :) around 1:30pm steady 10-15mph wind the leaves were falling steady  guess I know what I'll be doing tomorrow.

Plans for the evening...deck feet up enjoy smooth cigar waiting for critters and stars, maybe even have homemade apple crisp with BIG scoop vanilla ice cream on top...what are the odds that won't happen. ;)

Enjoy your evening all.

NY Giants pull rabbit out of there hat. :)

Good (Monday) morning. Overnight Low of 6.0C and it's presently 17.0C, clear & calm. I've put the flagpole back up.

A lovely Church Service was had yesterday. I noticed a large branch down along my driveway that'll require some chainsaw work so, other than that and the wattle tree, I came away pretty good from the high wind event.

I did notice on my way home from Church that a very large tree had split into 3 and come down in the local cemetery. I'll see if the Council workers are clearing that up when I head into town in a while, as I've got an income tax appointment @ 1100.

I'll probably make a trip into Launceston tomorrow as my TV's BOSE sound system has finally 'pack it in'. I can't complain as it's given 23 years on service... I'm surprised that it's still compatible with the technology of the day.

That's about it, take care all.

Good evening! Clear skies 83˚.

Work/play went well at the "adventure Farm". More people are coming out with the cooler weather and the Kubota is working again. I had 3 full trailers about 50 people and 3 half full, the rest of the rides only had 10-15. We only had to turn away people once because of a full load. with loading and unloading we can do about 4 rides an hour. They plan on getting two tractors working in October. My physical therapist came out with his family I haven't seen him in a year. Last week a card player came to the farm with her family. She is a really good player and I thank her for not showing up the last month, I'm now in first place on the Monday night board for the quarter, but second place is only one win behind me and I only won 2 out of 5 games last week.

I can believe that, a perfect example is. My daughter and son-in-law (retired Marine) moved over there for retirement. She is a full blown squirrel brained liberal now days and he seems to go along with her. Because I am a Trump supporter and a conservative. She has cut all ties to us, her daughter and mommas boy son have had nothing to do with us since shortly after they moved there.
We have some of that to deal with. But the thing is, when you ask them about each of the main issues, they are on the right side mostly.

one interesting option Erie offered was a 5 year auto insurance rate lock.
if I don't change this car or have a loss or add a driver in five years, they promise
not to raise the price of my car insurance over the rate offered today.
That sounds like it has value
they also have a disappearing physical damage deductible which for 45 bucks more a year
allow my 1000 dollar deductible to drop to zero over x years. I asked how many years and waiting for answer.
so many deer here and I still drive at night so maybe that's worth it. If deductible goes away in five years, maybe,
Drew, while that may seem like a deal, I've known how car insurance companies screw their customers for 30 years. (my ex worked in the biz) Say you buy a new vehicle valued at $40K, and your insurance payment is $200/month. After 4-5 years the vehicle is now worth maybe $15K and they are still charging you the same $200/month. So, what seems like a deal, to me is not so great a deal.

My mom's homeowner's went up quite a bit, maybe 30%. She had asked them to come look at her roof this spring after a hail storm. They denied the claim and now want 30% more. ARrggh.

Morning all, 72 going to 77 and rain.
Went to cut a small dead ash that was leaning towards the shared road.
It had another smaller dead ash in the way, so both cut.
They are now leaning parallel to the road, in the woods a bit, so fine with me.

Today is reorg announcement at work.

Be well,
Glad to hear you're on the big boss's good list.

Just found out a good friend was the one killed in the wreck yesterday near me.....
Sorry to hear. Always sad when you lose a friend, but sadder when an accident.

67 going to 82 and muggy.

So sorry about your friend, BEF. Terrible tragedy for that family.

I enjoyed looking at your pix. The Dakotas are 2 of the handful of states I haven't visited.

Spent 3 hours in the Social Security office yesterday. Just needed to pick up a copy of my MIL's 2024 SSA 1099 for taxes, which we never received, and take care of one item for my wife. Couldn't do it online, so tried making an appointment a week ago...after being on hold 45 minutes, a nice man said there were no appointment slots available, but someone in the office might call me back within 3 days...if not, try being a walk-in...so picked Thursday morning on a rainy day...well, the place was hopping.

When we were called, we got the nicest lady with some of the best great customer service skills I've encountered recently. Quickly got the 1099, but the other task requires an appointment, for which no slots were available. The appointment should be a phone call, and likely get scheduled in December.

I was surprised by the age of so many sitting in the waiting room. Some of us were clearly retirement age, but half were younger folks too young to retire, and too old to likely be there to request a new SS card (which they only do online, or by appointment, anyway).
When I took my mom to the SS office over a year ago, I would guess that 90% of the people there waiting were not born in the USA. Arghh. If SS fails, I will know why.

Billy, watch out for those copperheads. I kill them. I am now worrying about Della.

Prayers Bupps and Holly, Ted and Dona, Drew back and aches, for our Nation, and for peace around the world.
