Instead of Fall Festival it should be called the last dog days of summer at. 97˚F and a heat index of 101˚.

Started off with my favorite tractor on the injured list so had to drive the New Holland. The route was changed after the flood and I like it. A simple out and back from one loading area. It takes care of several problems and we can transport 50% more people.

The Christmas tree patch is doing well and this will be the year they let the public cut their own.
The pumpkins are brought in from Floydada Texas and they have such a variety.

good morning all
always fun to post at 5am and wonder when the keyboard will freeze... ;)

cool morning going up to 80 today, should be a very nice day.
I had things planned which needed to get moved around since I have to go to a doc appt
for a colonoscopy consult. A consult?? They say due to age (75). Anyone else asked to get a consult first?
I looked it up, yes all kinds of hits on colonoscopies after age 75. They say there are risks, but avoiding colorectal cancer
is sure a benefit. That killed my wife so pretty familiar with it...

had a very nice lunch with Ken in New Hope yesterday and brought some very good seafood fried rice home which I doctored
up for dinner. Ken was home alone...wife off with friends and son off to college. Hope we can do this more often.

Buckeye, your travel pics are great, any left?

since some of us deal with this, hope this is a kind of good news:
I sure hope this is purely medically driven
1 in 31 children are affected, 3%

is the point they should have been taking Bufferin instead? or no NSAIDs?

Monday’s announcement is expected to link the development of autism in children with use of the pain reliever Tylenol during pregnancy, along with low levels of folate, a vitamin that is important for proper development of a baby’s brain and spine, the Wall Street Journal reported earlier this month.
It will also name folinic acid, a form of folate also known as leucovorin, as a way to decrease symptoms of autism.
Folate supplements are already recommended during pregnancy to prevent neural tube defects, such as spina bifida, in infants.

Good Morning Drew,
I looked it up, yes all kinds of hits on colonoscopies after age 75.
Drew, the doctor told me after the last colonoscopy that I probably won’t need to have that procedure done again. I have been getting them done since I was 50 and they never found anything, so I guess unless I have some issues that I need not go back. Supposedly the risk of perforation of the colon is great after 75. So we shall see. 😉🙏
