Good morning TBN!!
58 degrees this morning going to mid 80s. Still no rain.

Easy day yesterday. Actually mostly sat in the shop bingeing on Grand Tour (Top Gear). Occasionaly get up and move something from here to there but that was about it. After I got rid of a few things I can actually see on of the bays and if there was a hail threat (LOL) I could probably get the car in.
Played with the Magdrill a little bit. I was afraid the magnet was missing but found a switch that turns on the electromagnet. And it works well. Apparently draws a lot too. It blew the GFCI on 30 amp line. It's the only outlet on that line. I wonder if no GFCI would be better or if I would just trip the breaker?
May just have to do the same today only with some football. Panthers home opener against the Falcons.

Time for a second cup
Everybody have a great and safe day!!

Good morning TBN crew! 60 here now with a predicted high of 70 today and 60% chance of rain this afternoon. Cleaned up the camper some and hope to get it moved to the credit union parking lot today. It a 2021 model so hopefully we can sell it before snow flies. Did walk trails yesterday with our friend and his dog.

GFCI has nothing to do with overall current draw. It only reacts to an imbalance in current between the two power wires that would indicate a leakage to ground.
If it’s tripping the GFCI, there is likely an issue with insulation.
If it’s tripping the circuit breaker, it’s drawing too much current.

we have some exceptionally talented guys in Good Morning
like going to school some days
which is wonderful

wow just looked at ten day weather
the rain is returning
starting mid week five straight days showing rain.
what a switch
but some nice days until then
can only live one day at a time anyway
but gosh we sure worry about tomorrow don't we... ;)

saw my first big wooly bear crawling across the driveway yesterday.
at least two inches, black and burgundy
I bet that meant something to the native americans

Good Morning
56° partly cloudy with a high of 70 or so. Another dry day.

Yesterday was a pretty lazy day. Went to Vansant airport, hung out with a batch of old timers reminiscing about when we weren’t old timers, and watching planes that were older than us flying.
Son and grandson were there, we had a nice lunch, and enjoyed the picnic tables under the shade trees.

Trouble shot the lights on the fountain in the pond, they were tripping the GFCI. Turned out to be a bad seal, and one was getting water into the fixture. They are 12v lights with LED bulbs, and the GFCI is on the input to the power supply, I’m sort of surprised that it tripped.

Helped a friend troubleshoot the fuel injection on an 80’s Fiat spider. It’s Bosch electronic injection, and the fuel pump is not running. The fuel pump relay tests OK, the computer is outputting the signal to the relay, my guess is that there is a fuse inline somewhere that is blown. Next step is to prove that theory by delivering battery voltage to the relay, and see if it works. Then he has to find the buried fuse or broken wire.

Maybe today will be the day for mowing, I have yet to use the Progressive after its Spa day. But I always start with the Lazer. We will see what the day brings while the wife is away at a farmers market. I’ve also got some 3d printing projects that I’d like to get to, but there are rainy days on the horizon for that.

Have you thought about a 'fuseable link' in that circuit?

Morning all, 60 going up to 74 and sunny.

Pool cleanup, dog walk at peddlars, usual stuff , relaxing day.
Did get my replacement battery from Milwaukee, new 12AH forge. Huge battery.

Congrats Scotty

Happy birthday to the Mrs, Kyle

HappyNC - I am a big topgear/grandtour fan - do want to stop by his farm some day

Lunch with Drew, no wife though she is going with the ladies to celebrate one of their birthdays.

Tried to figure out problem with wife's coffee maker with built in grinder (not grinding) , no luck so far.
