55 outside right now, heading to upper 70's today. Dry, very dry.

Got the trails all cut with the tractor late yesterday and finished up with the weed whacking around the fence lines.

It's cooled off so much there is little chance of getting into the pool. Still nice looking at it. Unfortunate a lot of leaves are coming down due to the drought we are having. Lots of crunching going on.

Today I may start the back pastures with the tractor. Maybe the final cut for the year for them.

Good morning, the low is 43 and the high to 70°F. Wind N 1 mph. Sunny!

I will talk to junior and see if he wants to do the tractor shed roof today. If not then I have two other little jobs to keep us kinda busy.

I have made the executive decision that I will not install the meter for the oil until next spring at the earliest.

Time to get my oatmeal into me.

Good Morning
It’s 52° under a clear sky, forecast to get to the low 70’s with continued clear.

One last picture for national dog day-

Yesterday’s trip up and down the east coast went well, there were some thunderstorms off the coast around the Carolina’s , they were pretty big ones, requiring diversions around them,as they were tall. Here’s the view from 43,000 feet.

On the way from FL to ME, we took the inland route,as the overwater routes were closed by the storms.

Here’s a nice view of a contrail above us, which is unusual considering that we were at 45,000 feet.

And here’s the video game that kept me occupied for the day.

It was almost dinner time when I got home, so I got nothing accomplished around here.

That trend will continue for a little while, today is going to start at the RC field with the old guys, not sure what’s after that.

53.2 that is the low temperature for the day so far. Seems odd no rain so far this week and none on the horizon. If this weather pattern stays we are going to get dry quick. On a positive note no hurricanes hitting the east coast.

Had diarrhea most of day yesterday not sure what’s up with that.

Holly had ok day yesterday hope today is good as well.

good morning, 53 going to 73 sunny cool morning

Jacked up the van and did a check of the suspension for issues that could cause the clunking on rough roads. All joints were tight and no movements detected even when using a pry bar. Struts appear to be ok. However there was some gear sounding noise when turning the steering wheel a little side to side. Also some oil leak from the steering rack. Looks like it is a failing steering rack. Not sure I will replace it myself

Got too close to a wasp nest also and was stung a few times on my hand. Pulled the hand back really quick and it activated the emergency call on the Apple Watch. Good to see it actually works

Just enough time to clean the pool and do watering after work.

Drew - maybe some stick on tread for grip added to the ramps?

Son seems to be having a lot of fun wandering around nyc with his room mate.

Triplets are doing well too. Funny watching them try to get the Doe to feed them. One almost lifted his mom off the ground trying. She was not pleased, but still took care of her fawn.

@daugen if you only need a little traction, I often put a wet coat of varnish or epoxy down and sprinkle sand into it before it dries. I use 3M self adhesive anti slip peel and stick material as well. Lots of choices on Amazon.
